Esther Simplot Park

Esther Simplot Park, funded by the J.R. Simplot Foundation and named for philanthropist Esther Simplot, is one of Boise's "Ribbon of Jewels". a string of riverside parks named for prominent local women. For more about Esther Simplot's legacy - click here.

Esther's Pond is connected to Quinn's Pond and the Boise River is just outside our backdoor. Esther's Pond basically doubled the size of our water sports "outdoor gym".

Esther's Pond is available for SUP classes, SUP Yoga, SUP fitness, paddling events, kayak classes and much more! Esther Simplot Park, the pond and the "lazy river" that connects it with Quinn's Pond and integrates Veteran's Park further downstream into a mile long network of ponds and river encompassing four different Boise City Parks.
